Facebook Brings Clarity into Rules for Using Music in Video Content

Facebook has brought some clarity into how users can use music in their video content on the platform. Besides that, a special indicator has been introduced to the platform as well as IG live content to indicate limits of the fair use.

• it is fully permissible to use music in Stories;
• live performances will see no limits;
• the platform encourages the usage of short excerpts of songs;
• music should be accompanied by visuals;
