Facebook Introduces Shops for Both IG and Main Platform

Facebook has recently added Shop feature for both its main platform and IG.

Now you are able to create your own online store within the platform. It can be then accessed through Facebook and Instagram. This feature is free and, according to the company, simple to use. Shops then can be customized to fit the brand’s aesthetics.

Selected businesses will receive the link to the store builder. The builder makes it possible to connect the shop with some of the eCommerce platforms.

There is no clear info yet regarding which companies and in which regions will have access to the builder, but the criteria of eligibility looks like the decisive factor.

Customers will be able to easily contact the shop through Facebook’s own apps and platforms.
