Facebook Is Launching ‘Get Digital’ Resource to Educate Children on Safe Online Navigation

Children are being very active online during the coronavirus outbreak and lockdowns. Schools are closed, but online education, if present, still gives them a lot of free time that can be spent on browsing through the places of the web unexplored before.

So, probably a new resource launched by Facebook is going to be appreciated by many parents out there. It is called ‘Get Digital’, and it aims to educate children on how to stay safe while being online.

The platform wants to make sure that children have skills and competence to form respectful communities, check the trustworthiness of information they see while browsing the web, and, of course, stay safe and protect their data online.

Besides this, the company shared some tips based on internal guidelines for working from home.
