Facebook Partners with NHS to Supply Aged Care Residents with Portal Cameras

Facebook partners with the NHS in order to supply care homes in the UK with Portals. This initiative is aimed to make sure that aged residents have a means to connect with their relatives and close ones during the coronavirus pandemic.

The pandemic was hard for them because visits are not allowed in British care homes during the outbreak.

Portals are basically camera devices that are perfect for video-chat with their advanced technologies and software.

The company is clearly seeking ways to aid the community during this challenging time, and it’s great that one of the most vulnerable groups of people will be able to communicate with their relatives and friends the lockdowns.
