Facebook Shares New Report on Organized Unauthentic Behavior

Facebook has recently made a new report on its effort to battle the misuse of the platform. Coordinated campaigns that seek to manipulate public opinion are a huge problem that the platform is constantly trying to address.

For example, in the previous month, Facebook has removed more than 250 accounts and more than 100 groups from its main platform.

It looks like Facebook has seen less unauthentic behavior compared to April. But the number of IG profiles that are taking part in it has grown slightly. But overall, the numbers seem to go all over the place, so it’s hard to talk about any obvious trends at this point.

Obviously, protecting the elections from any foreign intervention is of great importance, and it’s great to see the company taking action on this front.
