IG Makes It Possible to Add Messenger Rooms

Instagram that like many other platforms has seen an increased usage is seeking to expand its functionality to facilitate user interactions. Users can now create Rooms with up to 50 people.

They can be created from DMs; and then selected users can be invited to join. To access videochat, users have to use Messenger. However, Rooms can be added both within IG and Messenger.

It looks like there is still some work that needs to be done, but still it is a useful addition to the platform’s functionality that is particularly relevant right now.
