Instagram Is Developing ‘DM Me’ Sticker

It looks like Instagram is developing a ‘DM Me’ sticker which opens a person’s DMs when tapped.

This new sticker isn’t necessarily the best idea, if we consider the possibility of harassment and abuse through DMs. But from a business perspective, it could be a great and effortless way to initiate a conversation with a potential customer.

During the coronavirus outbreak, messaging on most platforms has obviously seen higher engagement, but only time will tell whether pushing the use of messaging on IG further is a good idea.

There is no official info on the launch dates yet, so we can only guess when it will be rolled out.
