Instagram Makes Available Sending Disappearing Messages

Instagram has been working on a disappearing messages feature within its DMs.

According to this tweet from Instagram’s PR team, the feature was still at the stage of early development at the time of the tweet. Basically, it introduced self-destruct messages that delete themselves after a reader goes to another section. A very similar option is available for WhatsApp users, although they are able to choose the time limit for a self-destruct of the message.
