Instagram May Roll Out Account Memorialization Sooner Than Planned

Instagram is accelerating the updates aimed to add user memorialization to the platform. A new ‘Remembering’ notifier has been discovered above the users’ bio as a part of the memorialization tool.

Also a prompt with a flower icon and some additional information should appear for the accounts of people who have passed away.

These new updates were confirmed by Instagram, although there are no clear rolling out dates available yet.
