Instagram Rolls Out ‘Reels’ for New Countries

Instagram rolls out ‘Reels’ previously available in Brazil for more countries. If you haven’t heard of this feature, it is simply a 15-second looping video.

Many compared it to TikTok’s format, and the similarities do appear to be quite obvious.

‘Reels’ will be available for users in Germany and France; and their functionality was updated.

It seems like Instagram is putting effort into this format, and only time will show whether it will see much success.
