LinkedIn Is Seeing Record Engagement, But Ad Spending Is Slowing Down
In this year’s Q3 Performance report, Microsoft states that the total number of LinkedIn users has increased as well as engagement. According to the tech giant, the platform is seeing record engagement. The coronavirus outbreak could have led to the fact that ad spending has slowed down. However, LinkedIn’s total revenue has increased by 21%. Microsoft also noted that there are some 690 million professionals who use the platform now.
During the pandemic and period of social distancing, people are spending much more time watching LinkedIn’s content. Despite the increase in usage, the platform is still functioning well.
Revenue-wise, the company expects to see a slowdown in its growth.
