Without having set the right metrics it’s hard to see whether you are moving towards achieving your goals. It’s hard to even see if you are moving anywhere at all.
So it’s very important to have your KPIs right so that you will be able to track your progress. It may be very seducing to focus on some obvious metrics such as likes and comments, but sometimes you will need more to really see the situation and progress.
